Alocasia 'Sarian'

Alocasia Sarian is a remarkable, tropical foliage plant, with a compact habit and wavy-edged, arrow shaped dark green leaves. The leaves have striking light-coloured veins, that give this evergreen beauty even more character. Alocasia Sarian is a crossbreed of A. zebrina and A. micholitziana. Alocasia is native to the tropical and temperate parts of South East Asia, where it grows as an herbaceous perennial in the shady, humid understorey layers of rainforests. With its distinctive leaves on strong stems, Alocasia Sarian makes for an extraordinary houseplant. Alocasia Sarian is commonly known as African mask or Elephant’s Ears. Evanthia has Alocasia Sarian starting material available all year round, as tissue culture young plants. Ask our team for the Alocasia cultivation manual for commercial production. Check out all Alocasias in the Evanthia range.
