Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web'

Fatsia japonica Spider’s Web is an evergreen perennial shrub. This decorative, subtropical foliage plant has glossy deeply lobed, palmate leaves. Fatsia japonica Spider’s Web has distinctive frosted white webbing colouration on the leaves, that changes with seasons and age. Fatsia japonica is native to subtropical parts of Japan and Korea, where it grows in coastal forests. Fatsia japonica Spider’s Web is easy to cultivate and relatively fast growing. It can reach great volume, yet as a houseplant it’s simple to keep the growth under control and the shape attractive by regular pruning. As it is quite hardy, Fatsia japonica Spider’s Web can be used as shade-loving garden plants and container plants as well. Fatsia japonica is commonly known as Japanese Aralia. Other internationally used common names for Fatsia japonica are: Japanese Fatsia; Aralia; Aralia du Japon; Zimmeraralie, Japanse vingerplant; Castor oil plant; Fatsi; Fig-leaf palm; Glossy-leaved paper plant; Big-leaf paper plant; Formosa rice tree; Paper plant; Aralia sieboldii. Evanthia has Fatsia japonica Spider’s Web starting material available all year round, as tissue culture young plants. Ask our team for the Fatsia cultivation manual for commercial production.
