The annual Trade Fair Aalsmeer is just around the corner, and this year too, Evanthia is enthusiastically attending. Having previously highlighted our cut flower assortment, this week we are putting the spotlight on our tropical assortment. We cordially invite growers, traders and retailers to immerse themselves in the colourful world of tropical plants at our stand. A colourful spectacle with Hypoestes: Our Hypoestes Coloratus™, commonly referred to as the Polka Dot Plant, stands out with its playful, speckled leaves. The series is available in vibrant colours such as Pink, Red, White and now Rose as well! Very decorative as a houseplant and ideal to offer as a variegated mix. As an annual, Coloratus™ it is also suitable for patio pots and borders.
The style icon Monstera: No tropical plant collection is complete without the iconic Monstera – a real hit on social media, catwalks, interior styling and the favourite of plant lovers. With large, heart-shaped leaves with lots of perforations and notches, Monstera creates the ultimate jungle look. As a specialist, we offer a collection of several varieties, from seed and tissue culture.
The King of the Tropics: Strelitzia: Strelitzia, also known as the Bird of Paradise flower, is a true exotic eye-catcher. With impressive leaves and colourful flowers, this topper adds a touch of tropical flair to any environment. Evanthia offers 3 varieties: S. reginae, S. nicolai and the S. Mandela’s Gold, each with its own qualities. To get you off to a good start, we offer not only seeds but also young plants.
